I’m going to tell you about Carmine’s, at 425 7th St, Northwest. It’s 3 kilometers away from the hotel, and within walking distance of the venue of the day. It is located in the middle of the city. It is decorated in an Italian theme, with old style wooden tables.
Carmine’s, there is a set menu of pasta, pizza, seafood, meat and varied entrees. I thought that there was a fantastic selection of food and so I made the most of it. Yum!
For appetizers, I would recommend the mouth watering garlic bread. It has nine unbelievably thick sourdough slices of warm, fresh bread, and topped off with melted, runny garlic and herb butter. This delicious delicacy is to die for, will feed the whole family, and is only $17.23 NZD!

For the mains, I would most definitely suggest the Chicken Cutlet Parmigiana. It is a divine pan fried, breaded chicken cutlet, sprinkled with sensational, stringy mozzarella cheese. It’s served with marinara sauce, that definitely made my taste buds burst with anticipation! This fresh, gourmet chicken cutlet is $37.65, but trust me, it is totally worth it!
After that, you will probably be itching for something sweet. Fortunately, this restaurant has a seemingly never ending dessert menu.I treasured the rich flavour of the original, sensational Bread Pudding. It is six slices of scrumptious campobasso bread soaked in sweet, thick vanilla custard and layered with precious chocolate chunks, and chewy, golden raisins. This breathtaking dessert will serve 4-6 people, and costs only $21.06 NZD.
This is a great family environment, and I’d give it a five out of five any day. The quality of the service and food is really good. The total price for the meal is $75.94 NZD.
